Just a few updates, to obliterate the gap between posts.

I’ve been working a night job for a guy I know over at Sterling Publishing . Eating way into my free time for blogging.

Another buddy of mine from work is going to unload his DVD collection onto me for the amazing price of $2 per title. Sure, there’s dupes, but c’mon. Two bucks!?

Recently watched Searching for Bobby Fischer, which is based on a real guy. I really enjoyed the movie, especially as we’ve been playing some chess lately.

Also recently viewed Donnie Yen’s Su qi er (Fist of the Red Dragon) (2nd viewing), Little Man Tate (2nd), and Outlaw Josey Wales (nth).

Rode our bikes in the 5 Boro Bike Tour around NYC. Only made four boroughs, tho. We peaked late in the Brooklyn leg and just went home, but I’ve got some pictures to upload, and a really fun one caught by the race organizers.

My younger sister rolled through town, too. Pictures of that event were spare, but forthcoming too.

The site shift to Textpattern is going slowly, since my free time is gone thru June. The wife and I are headed to London(!) for a few days next week- I won’t even have the preccciioousss with me to check the web and mail- it’s going back to Apple to get a new LCD inverter and hopefully, a little less thermal grease !

Worth noting that I’ve happily resolved my cell phone situation. I was using my Blackberry 7290 on Cingular, but the phone was physically dying. Had them ship me a new Nokia 6682, but man- what an awful experience, particularly after a couple of years on the Blackberry QWERTY-style keyboard (not to mention the stunningly-poor plastic camera cover on that Nokia). I’m very enthused about the Blackberry 8700c I’m on now. In fact, it’s worthy of a seperate blog entry, cause there are a couple of amusing aspects to it..

Finally, I’ve got a few ideas for decorating the site I was thinking about. Here’s one: A preview and link to the current wallpaper on my laptop. Also considering fetching my ‘most recently added’ del.icio.us links? Don’t know if anyone’s even interested in that sort of thing.

Oh crap. It’s 5am.
